A few months ago, a few dogs were sitting on the couch and I asked them to choose the best coat for them.
As you might expect, the answers ranged from the luxurious to the silly.
“My dogs are big on wool,” said one dog, who had two coats.
“I would definitely recommend the black.”
The dog with the fluffy hair was probably the only one who could pick out the coat that would be the most comfortable for her.
And then there was the dog who asked, “What do I want to wear?”
The answer: “Black.”
The only dog who said, “I want to be a black woman,” was the one with the fur.
And this isn’t to say that black is the right color for all dogs.
Some dogs just like a little bit of gray and some love a mix of black and white.
For example, my dogs love to be able to wear some grey or black, but they also love some black and some white.
That being said, they are all about the black.
So if you want a black dog coat, get a black one.
And if you don’t want to buy a black or white one, it’s time to consider the options.
For some dogs, the best option is black.
For others, the answer is grey.
It all depends on what you are looking for and what the weather is like.
